WOuld be great to be able to delete items in a stream that were invalid to your search. THe search mechanism is limited so this would be a great way to counteract AND to lessent the load on hootsuite from having to do additional filters when one off items could just be deleted.

Buttons like the "My Twitter", "My facebook", "My LinkedIn" buttons, should be added to target a Twitter account with a Direct Message. Those buttons would add the "d twitteraccount" prefix to the text automatically. This way, it would be easy to publish the same text in different places at the same time

In Facebook, I've ignored/muted/whatever all those apps like Farmland and Treasure Whatever. It's lovely, because it's like they don't exist when I'm in FB. But it all comes out on HootSuite and I'm reminded what a bunch of toolboxes all my friends are. Just sayin'.

I'd love for Hootsuite to remember the timeline position when it refreshes a certain tab or column so that you can read the new tweets chronologically, like most twitter clients on mobile devices like Android and iPhone do. Preferably start loading new tweets starting on the latest read tweet so that it doesn't create a gap.

It's good that we have the choice between the new-style Twitter retweet and the old-style. However, it would be nice to be able to decide which one you want to do on the fly. Sometimes I just want to retweet something as it is (especially if it's a long tweet). Sometimes I want to modify and comment. It's a pain having to go into Preferences each time.

right now, when a twitter error message appears, it obscures the text entry area. i have to wait for it to go away by itself before i can see the text entry area again. i would love it if it had a close button so i could dismiss it early.
